BAIKAL HELI-SKIING
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The valley of the Bolshoy Mamay (or Mamay for short, Khamar-Daban Range), the iconic place of Siberian freeriding, is widely known both in Russia and among foreign freeriders. Guests from all over the world come here every winter to see countless mountains buried under bottomless, crystal clear white snow, and to admire the mighty Baikal from a "bird's eye view".
It was in this picturesque valley, among the mountains, that the Baikal Freeride originated.
For us helicopter makes available the spots within tens of kilometers around. Most of them have never been visited by freeriders.
Professional guides will ensure the top level safety.
Here you will find all types of terrain suitable for freeride: snow fields, mountain cirques, couloirs, drops of all possible kinds - unique nature of Khamar-Daban mountains presents you all its treasures against panoramic views of the largest lake of the Planet.
In case of non-flying weather we ski-tour in the vicinity of Mamay: all spots are within walking distance.
After skiing we can have banya (Russian sauna) and dive in fluffy snow, get together in the evening having a glass of mulled wine and listening to the guitar ... or can have unrestrained fun in the neighbouring "chalets";)

Arrival to Irkutsk
Transfer to the venue of the program
Accommodation in a guest house in the city of Baikalsk

09.00 – 15.30 - Heli-ski (lunch in the mountains)
16.00 – Return to the guest house in Baikalsk
17.00 – 19.00 - Free time, banya (Russian sauna), swimming pool – every day, if desired

PRICE GUIDE
The cost of the programs is always calculated individually, call us or e-mail to clarify the cost of the program. You can also submit a request and we will call you back and calculate the cost.

THE PRICE OF THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

- 4 days of heliskiing, 6-8 runs each day (helicopter serves 2 groups of 4 people)

- 1 day ski-tour in the Mamai valley (can be substituted with the day of heliskiing)

- 6 nights in a guest house in the city of Baikalsk,

- 1 night in a hotel in Irkutsk, before departure

- All transfers after arrival to Irkutsk airport and till the departure

- Guiding for the duration of the program

- All meals during the program (including services of an individual chef)

- Having banya (Russian sauna) in the mountains

- Alcoholic beverages

- Guiding during the program

- Skiing in the Sobolinaya ski resort

- Airfare (estimated cost of the flight Moscow-Irkutsk-Moscow 290 eur per 1 person)
